Rooted FAQ
What is Rooted?
Rooted is a 10-week discipleship experience that brings people closer to God through group discussions, a prayer experience, a serving experience, and an amazing celebration.
When is Rooted?
Rooted will be offered 3 times a year at The Crossing campuses. Day & time will vary based on the session & location. Refer back to the registration options online for the next course.
How do I register and does it cost?
Registration is easy! Once registration is open for the upcoming session, click on which time box you want to register for and follow the steps. The cost is $50 per person to go through the course, which includes all sessions, your workbook and other materials, and the Celebration dinner at the end of the 10 weeks. This breaks down to just $5 a week! Register HERE
What if I cannot make all ten weeks?
We understand that Rooted is a large time commitment, but we believe it is worth it to invest in the entire process. If you know you are going to miss more than 2 meetings, we ask that you wait until the next session of Rooted. The 10 weeks are a cumulative experience, and so we ask that every participant commit to honor each other with being at every meeting.
Can my small group participate in Rooted together?
Yes, your small group can go through Rooted together. However, Rooted groups are limited to 15 per group so if your group is larger than 15, your group will have to split up. If your group is smaller than 15, additional people may be added to your Rooted group. Email Beth to find out how your small group can participate in Rooted together.
Is there childcare available?
Childcare is available for children 8 yrs & under, and it costs $45 per child. Once you are registered, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to register for childcare. This breaks down to just $4 a week for childcare! Register for childcare HERE
Where will my Rooted group meet?
All of our Rooted groups meet in different rooms around campus.
How will my Rooted group be chosen?
Our Rooted team will prayerfully place participants into groups of about 10-14 people. We group by age, marital status, and life stage. We form groups of married couples, singles, women, men, and young adults. These groups ultimately depend upon the demographic of those who registered. A substantial amount of prayer and thoughtfulness goes into creating groups which we think will provide the best experience for all people who attend. While we do our best to honor requests when possible, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all friend or leader requests.
What is the difference between Rooted and Life Groups?
Rooted is the on-ramp to Life Groups. Your Rooted group at the end of the 10 weeks becomes your Life Group, and so we strongly advise that you go through Rooted before joining an open Life Group.
Are there scholarships available?
We believe that Rooted is a life-changing experience and we want everyone to participate! We understand that the Rooted registration fee may be a burden for some and we are happy to provide scholarships. Click here to apply for a scholarship. Apply for scholarships HERE
