InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA aims to establish and advance at colleges and universities witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord, growing in love for God, God’s Word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture, and God’s purposes in the world. Officially began on November 14, 1941, InterVarsity was committed to taking the gospel to those who had never heard it. Today, there is more than 1,000 InterVarsity staff, serving over 40,000 students and faculty on 600 plus campuses nationwide.
Callie came to the United States from China as an international student. In 2009, Jesus met her through InterVarsity International Student Ministry, and since then God became her family, savior, comforter, friend, English teacher, and more. He made her journey in the States possible, and through many good and difficult times, Jesus showed her that she is guided, seen, loved, and cared for. She knew she was made to share the good news of the gospel with people from all over the world, and it is her mission to see many more international students become followers of Jesus and be empowered to be world changers in Jesus’ name.
