Family Promise
The mission of Family Promise of Las Vegas is to offer homeless families the opportunity to achieve housing stability by providing short-term shelter, meals, case management, and hospitality. Family Promise is a cooperative effort that utilizes resources within local congregations and the community.
The Crossing partners with Family Promise to host families on The Crossing’s campus four times per year. For an entire week, volunteers serve families by providing overnight housing and meals during a time of transition. The families spend their days interviewing for jobs, attending classes and making the adjustment to a more stable future.
