Educate2Elevate
Educate2Elevate seeks to elevate the community through providing education, building relationships, meeting basic needs, having fun, and most importantly sharing the gospel. They currently serve the Woodcreek Apartments in an unfortunately neglected, low-income neighborhood. Since July 2016, their community events have provided much-needed school supplies, basic needs, and love to this area. In fall 2017 they launched an after school program. This program offers kids a safe place to hang out, help with school work, life skills, and mentoring. Sometimes just having a place to belong goes a long way for our local kids.
Serve via Community Outreach
Who: Anyone
When: One Saturday a month, 5:00pm-7:00pm
What: They have a monthly outreach to an apartment complex in a low-income area of Las Vegas. They work with kids at the complex – snack time, music, a Bible lesson, games, and crafts.
